Occasionally coaches need a clarification of the rules in the Rules Manuals. An online resource is available to offer those clarifications on the National SO website!

OnShape Design Software for Events

OnShape is a computer-aided design (CAD) program that can be helpful in designing specific size and dimensions for all parts needed for a device to compete in the Science Olympiad. 
You are not required to use it (except for rare events designated as "CAD" events, where using the software is part of the day-of competition), but you can check it out for possible use:
